Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the issue of socio-political theology of Pope Benedictine XVI outlined in his encyclical Caritas in Veritate, based on the general problem of integral human development in charity and truth. Argues that although virtually collision can occur between progress and religiosity, it is beneficial to the progress of Christianity, and Christianity is essential and necessary for the full development of the human race in general. When the Pope goes beyond traditional social doctrine of the Church, so to speak beyond sociology, pastoral, to the full socio-political theology.
