An Analysis of the Vertical Proportions of the Domed Mosques of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Summary/Abstract: Papers on the proportions of mosques are not frequently found in the Bosnia and Herzegovinian bibliography, and this paper is a contribution to studying this interesting issue. It was written with the intention to offer additional information to the reader, to take the more knowledgeable reader on a journey of his/her studies that will confirm, complete, challenge or deepen and expand research in this field. In the attempt to find a pattern for mosque proportions, old units of measurement were used, while the symbiosis of applied descriptive geometry and combinatory with mathematical series of numbers was the backbone of the conducted study.
