RECONSTRUCTION, RESTORATION AND CONSERVATION WORKS ON THE MONASTERY CHURCH OF THE HOLY TRINITY-VOZUĆICA

Summary/Abstract: This paper describes the reconstruction, restoration and conservation works on the monastery church of the Holy Trinity in Vozućica, carried out in 2007 and financed by the governments of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The paper provides a brief summary of all the actions undertaken between 2005 and 2007, based on the information provided in the project documentation, the works log, the works accounts, the interim situation and final situation reports, reports by the supervisory bodies, photographic documentation, and on-site monitoring of the building works. The introduction section provides general details of the property, based on reference works and the on-site inspection conducted as part of the preparations for rendering a decision designating the architectural ensemble of the Vozuća monastery in Vozuća as a national monument.
