Ways of enhancing the stability of the international monetary system – the problem of supply of international currencies

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the alternative ways of the supply of the international currency. It is one of the ways for transforming the current international monetary system. There are two possibilities: creating a truly multipolar currency system or a global one with elements of supranationality. The analysis aims at enhancing pros and cons of the proposals. However, it is hard to indicate the optimal solution for the stability of the international monetary system.
