Summary/Abstract: The first objective of this article is to prove, based on the correspondence, that the Estonian Orthodox Church in exile had contacts with the occupied homeland, especially with the clergy and members of the subjugated Orthodox Church. The second objective of this research is to observe the expression of these contacts in the EAOC newspaper Jumala abiga (God Help). The 1950s mark the beginning of the relationship in the history of both churches and express their mutual attitude. The main questions of the research are the following: When did the first written contacts take place with the clergy in the occupied homeland? What kind of contacts were they? How can the mutual attitude of churches be described, based on the correspondence under research?
