Summary/Abstract: Following the discovery in 1965 of a monastic complex text from Kellia (Lower Egypt) on the prayer of Jesus researchers have edited it by putting it to the theologians. The inscription from Kellia is inserted in a very strong tradition and speaks of Jesus' prayer in its short form: “Lord Jesus!”. She is also a true statement of position to the followers of Origen who believe in the tradition of Origen, but which have thought in the end an aporia given in a false manner by the teacher regard Origen. The dogmatic base of the faith in Jesus came to wobble. No need to exist the pray to Jesus, this is why the prayer of Jesus is explained as an empty exercise. On the contrary, in the text of Kellia the call “Lord Jesus” is a confession, as shown in the forever practice of Jesus’ prayer in the life of the Church.
