Summary/Abstract: From the Jacquier archives. The paper proposes an intellectual portrait of Henri Jacquier based on unpublished documents from his personal archives. After a general presentation of Jacquier, the paper focuses on his translating activity, and on his innovative approach of critical translation and editing, which unfortunately remained only a project.
