Summary/Abstract: In the first part of this essay comments on words in translation contexts (especially in Kiev Letters – Kyjevské listy) are made. In the second part the author contradicts the argument about pure Roman and spiritually Latin orientation of the Byzantine mission at the territory of the Great Moravian Empire.
