Accomplishment of the European Union’s employment policy in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The European Employment Strategy started in 1998. Every EU member state fulfils the EES guidelines in the national employment policy framework and the EU supports these activities from its general budget. The EES objectives have been convergent to the Lisbon Strategy since 2000 and to the strategy of Europe 2020 since 2010. Poland has more than a decade of experience connected with the EES. All objectives and guidelines are included in the national activity programmes. The cohesion policy funds obtained by Poland reinforced the human capital. New decisions on financial framework 2014-2020 mean a great challenge for Poland.
