Summary/Abstract: This article deals with some of the challenges that medical students have to face when learning medical terminology and the ways teachers can help their students overcome the inherent difficulties of understanding and learning the medical jargon. The structure of the article follows the most important topics of medical terminology, outlining specific challenges and suggesting ways for teachers to improve their teaching skills.
