Copyright ephemeral works of art

Summary/Abstract: Physical existence as a work of art can raise issues related to the appearance and the operation of copyright, if we take into account the requirement of material shape. The latter does not depend on the temporary or permanent work of art, it is sufficient that the form of expression to exist at a time initially to have met the condition, what happens next only affect copyright for the future. Because of the ephemeral nature of works, the right to integrity of work and the right to withdrawal can be exercised only so long as the works remain. In all cases, although in general the idea is not subject to copyright protection, design work, remaining in one form or another, is protected.
