Some light on commander of battalion “Hasan Prishtina” for national defense of Kosova Ibrahim Ibrahimi-“Ibushi”

Summary/Abstract: He was born in Prishtina, on 13 April 1915. A polyglot intellectual, a patriot and brave man, Nazim Gafurri’s follower and adored by Iljaz Agushi, a friend of Luan Gashi and Shyqeri be Ramadani’s co-activist in the Second League of Prizren, member of committee “National Youth for Protection of Kosova,and supporter of Ymer Berisha, Adem Gllavica and Shashivar Alia. Commander of the Battalion “Hasan Prishtina” for National Defense of Kosova in September – November 1944 in Gallap, inspirator and participant of Drenica’s war under commandment of Shaban Palluzha, arrested on March 8th, 1945 at Llapushnik, and condemned to death on May 3rd, 1946. Repeated trial on December 4th, 1946, when he was sentenced to a term of 18 years imprisonment. He was and is real Albanian value of Prishtina - horror for communist – chetnik. He was martyrised in the Nish prison, on December 5th, 1948.
