Organized Interest In The European Union: Actors And Processes In Two-Level Game

Summary/Abstract: The goal of this article is to provide an overview of organized interest intermediation in the EU: interest representation actors, their access to the legislative process and relation with key institutions - European Commission, Council and European Parliament. Several models of in­terest representation exists in the EU - corporative, pluralist and neo­pluralist. EU political process has led to proliferation of lobying at the European level, while at the same time interest groups continued their national activities.
