Summary/Abstract: The sub-genre status of overview and tutorial can be validated by evidencing the relation of inclusion between them and the review at all levels of composition. The paper presents the results of an analytical study into the inventional means: the discourse logic and topoi whereby content is created and of a comparative study which has confirmed the abovementioned relation.
