Summary/Abstract: The article describes the research held in 2011 in the Faculty of Education at University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. The research is focused on conducting a survey of the influence of projectbased learning in IT on student´s perception of success in this particular subject. The target group are high school students. The described research is a part of the wider research concept which identifies potential of project-based learning in IT.
