Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with teaching educational area Man and health in primary schools. Based on the analysis of the school education programs of primary schools in the Pilsen region it monitors the extent to which the educational area Man and Health is integrated into the study plan, how it is distributed in the individual grades of elementary school, which educational contents are preferred by schools and which rather neglect and into which school subjects are incorporated. The article compares elementary schools that have set up a separate Health Education course in the curriculum, with schools that do not have this subject. The study is based on the recommendations of the Framework Education Program for Basic Education. In total 48 school education programs of primary schools in the Pilsen Region were analyzed. The results obtained are largely descriptive charakter and they evoke the need to carry out further research investigations during the doctoral study of one of the authors.
