Summary/Abstract: Members of chambers of commerce assign in the statutes the method of determining the measure of contributions, their payment and obtaining other funds (mostly business earnings) to cover the operating costs of chambers. A limited number of members of chambers of commerce means that chances of realizing their activity on the basis of membership fees are moderate and it is desirable to obtain other sources of financing. Chambers of commerce should offer a comprehensive catalogue of services, convergent with the expectations of entrepreneurs − in the field of economic information, training and consultancy, in particular on the acquisition of public funds and regulatory frameworks of economic activity; this will contribute to the purchase of additional financial resources.
