ASPECTS REGARDING MILITARY ORGANIZATION IN ROMANIA BEFORE 1989 AND AFTER 1989

Summary/Abstract: By modernizing its military organization’ our country aims to build a small army of flexible, high mobility professionalized, equipped with modern equipment, able to carry out its mission as a provider of sovereignty, independence and unity of the State, the territorial integrity of the country and constitutional democracy and participate in the collective defense within NATO general efforts to strengthen and maintain peace and security in Europe and in the world. To highlight this, we intend to present some aspects regarding the military organization in Romania before and after 1989.
