The Testament of Patriarch Reuben According to a Transcript from the Manuscript Collection of Nikoljac Monastery

Summary/Abstract: MS 83 (15) from the collection of Nikoljac Monastery dating from 1425/1435 contains an unknown transcript of the Testament of Patriarch Reuben. This text is usually considered as a part of the well-known apocryphal Testament of the Twelve Patriarchs, but here it is presented as an individual work. The article publishes the text of Nikoljac manuscript with variant readings according to the only other known copy from Krušedol Monastery dated to 1430/1440. The author defines the Nikoljac manuscript where the Testament is incorporated as a miscellany of mixed content which includes also a Historical Palaea and provides its analytical description.
