Some Thoughts On Provenance of Beauty

Summary/Abstract: In observing various manifestations and aspects of beauty, this paper attempts to provide an answer to the questions related to the essence of beauty; whether genuine beauty is but an outward reality manifested in external phenomena or an inward reality linked to man’s awareness, or whether beauty entails either in respect of the afore-mentioned features; the paper also deals with a way man achieves a contact with God and the world of existence (Dasein) by observing beauty in the phenomenological world and inside himself. What is indispensable for a recepient to embrace the message contained in beauty? Only a spiritually awakened person will be able to sharpen his internal sight to distinguish between the genuine from false beauty, ie. between the material beauty on the one hand, and the eternal spiritual beauty whose provenance lies in the absolute beauty of God, on the other hand.
