THE ROMANIAN CONTRIBUTION TO INTERNATIONAL SECURITY ASSISTANCE FORCE IN AFGHANISTAN. SWOT ANALYSIS

Summary/Abstract: This study aims to examine how Romania has managed to understand and implement the ISAF campaign plan objectives corresponding to the time period July 2006 – September 2009, when our country has held the status of lead-nation for Zabul province – Afghanistan. By applying the SWOT analysis tool, the study highlights some strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that characterized TFZ during conducting its operations in support of NATO's campaign objectives.
