Summary/Abstract: Pâclişa, the Orthodox parish had a modest number of parishes in the Alba Iulia Archpriestship in the XIXth century. It became renowned due to priest Nicolae Cado – who served this church between 1878-1925-, author of an appreciated parochial chronicle, recently published. Our paper focuses on other new documents, recuperated from a family archive, referring to the church from Pâclişa during the time of priest Cado. One of the documents is an extras from The Burial Records, from 1880-1886, document presented integrally and analysed statistically (categories of age at the moment of death, onomastics). Two papers from 1941 depicting priest Nicolae Cado are presented in the second part of the paper. Document-images are extremely valuable especially for the history of the wall church, there being noticed architectonic details or ecclesiastical objects and vestments that nowadays didn’t preserve anymore. These images were the reason for a series of observations concerning location and dating of church in the XVIIIth- XIXth centuries, as well as endowment of parish during the time of priest Cado.
