New phenomena in the common agricultural policy of the European Union in the conditions of a budgetary perspective for the years 2014-2020

Summary/Abstract: The main aim the article is the presentation of new phenomena in the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union in the conditions of a budgetary perspective for 2014-2020. Specific objectives included new challenges for the CAP, an indication of new objectives of this policy and to draw attention to important issues of food security in the CAP reform. For the joint strategic framework of the CAP there should be both the development of the market in agricultural and rural development, as well as the use of EU structural funds, which have to be more focused on the results so that more transparent dependent rules improve their application. In addition, one of the most important elements of the future reform of the Common Agricultural Policy in the European Union should be the issue of food security.
