The Operation Risk in Banks Activities and Some Aspects of its Management

Summary/Abstract: Implementing their activity, the contemporary trade banks can be affected by a great number of risks, one of which is the operation risk. Due to this reason, the specification of the possible losses, their delimitation from the ones stemmed from the credit risk and market risk, developing of operation events data base, introducing a suitable organizational management structure and choosing valuation models are part of the bank activities which is directed towards discovering and solving of all emerging problems connected to the operation risk.
