Summary/Abstract: The text discusses all the different approaches and controversies around the newly announced constitutional changes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The main highlight of the text is the critical analysis of the proposed constitutional Amendments. These Amendments tried to be pushed into the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, prior to the October2006 elections, but even after an exhausting two-day parliamentary session in April 2006, they did not pass, since they did not get the parliamentary majority of votes. The author warns us of possible hugely negative political consequences, if the newly elected political parties try to impose the same inappropriate constitutional Amendments.
