Summary/Abstract: The ucrainean security strategy emphasizes the main trends of security environment in an objective manner, such as: global actors actions which threaten the strategic and global stability, with a negative impact on the national security; the growing competition between global power centers; the international security system crisis, the unclear fundamentals of the new international security system establishment and the faults of international legislation concerning security. Ucraine represents a surprise through the objective identification of the specific security risks, threats and vulnerabilities and through a subjective externalisation of the majority of risks sources, even those intimately related to their national security.
