Summary/Abstract: Much splendour and actual brightness gives to the traditional clothings even their artistic "magic". It is true that the technical and material progress has removed from the popular dresses some practical functions, but they are evaluated and preserved today as remarkable values of the artistic cultural tradition of the people. From this viewpoint the study of the aesthetic function of the clothings has a particular importance.
