Summary/Abstract: The author of the study focuses on the issue of the economic effects of a free trade area between the European Union and South Korea (KOREU FTA). The agreement, which entered into force on 1 July 2011, is the most comprehensive agreement reached by the European Union. The author analyzes the potential and, where possible, the actual effects of the agreement on trade and economic growth.
