Summary/Abstract: In this interview, Romanian philosopher Virgil Ciomoş answers to questions posed by the editors of the journal, reflecting on issues such as theoretical advances in the field of studies concerned with religion in Romania, the relationship of the Romanian Orthodox Church with political power, nationalism, historical tradition and the problems of our present society, advancing critiques of the Orthodox Church as a secular institution, while maintaining faith in the validity of the existential practice and the spirituality of orthodoxy.
