Summary/Abstract: If in 1960, at the end of the Second Five-Year Plan Dobrudja as region was to be found on a map that showed the average level of national industrial development, in 1965, after the consolidation of economic policy designated by the Romanian Communist Party, Dobrudja was among the areas that had modern industry, and that was because the implementation of the technological process and the quality of products supplied. The administrative division made in 1968 created a more favorable area by accelerating the social and economic development. An important role in the determining cities and towns was the perspective regarding the development of the industrial sides and the expansion of the areas affected for the new accommodations or for other facilities concerning urban interests. We believe that the political line of the Romanian Communist Party regarding increasing the ’’socialist” police was based on industrialization as a unique and certain mean of developing the national economy, including the Dobrudja.
