Access to sources of legal information in Bosnia and Herzegovina: overview and evaluation of online sources

Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses the problem of dissemination of primary sources of legal information in Bosnia and Herzegovina that are available either on-line or in the printed form. An overview of the online, open-access sources is given, including the analysis of their advantages and disadvantages according to criteria such as reliability, level of availability and systematization of information. Attention is brought to the efforts in creating an integrated legal database and to the possibility of its further development. It is argued that an integrated database of legal documents is necessary, not only because of their importance for legal practitioners and researchers, but also for the wider public.
