Summary/Abstract: The international conference “Discourse, Culture, Context in the Professional Environment”, was hosted by the Department of Modern Languages and Business Communication, within the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. In partnership with The Institute of Romanian Language as a European Language, the Department of Modern Languages set out to organize a conference that was meant to bring language instructors and researchers from different parts of the world together, bridging the language divide by developing into a unique academic event that included a part dedicated to teaching Romanian as a foreign language and as a minority language.
