Summary/Abstract: The Albanian government during this period was committed to the expansion of interstate relations with the Turkish Republic. The development of these relations for the Albanian state was important because there were living a large number of Albanians, who were facing with a variety of economic and political problems. At the same time, Ahmet Zog and the Albanian government were interested in expanding political and economic relations with Turkey. For its part, Turkey was also interested in the development of these relations. After Lausanne decisions, Turkey in the foreign policy intended to preserve the status- quo, achieved with difficulty. In this time when the mistrust of the West was still great, in the '20s-'30s, Turkey worked intensively for the gradual improvement of the relations with neighbors.
