Some Landmarks Concerning Philosophical Reflection of Religious Tradition

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses some aspects useful for observing the phenomenon of religious tradition and its dynamics. Religious tradition can not be understood from the such point of view, when terms „tradition” and „community” are represented in a romantic and utopian way. It also can not be explained as the phenomenon with has a pure social origin. A philosophical investigation of religious tradition should be grounded on the balance between social ant existential perspectives. The article analises some different levels of the realizing one’s own beeing inside a tradition: from ambivalentic level on the verge of relativism to the radical level of efficient traditionalism.
