Summary/Abstract: The two europarliamentary elections held in Romania in 2007 and 2009 can outline the romanian experience in this domain, even one as short. On one hand, the europarliamentary elections unfolded in an ever-changing juridical context, lacking european topics, thus resulting in a very poor presence at polls. On the other hand, these elections have generated a specific electoral and political formula, defined by a high growth of electoral proportionality and also a multi-party system, which Romania has known as a result to the national parliamentary elections.
