STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES OF EU AND EDUCATION IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to review educational and cultural policy proposed by the international stakeholders in B-H and how it may affect national, cultural and language identity of Croats in B-H. We analyze educational goals as proposed by the international stakeholders in B-H and examine whether they are in accordance with the guidelines and strategic goals of EU set for language policy and teaching, education, youth, and culture. We offer suggestions for strategic steps Croats in B-H should undertake in the area of language policy, education, and culture.
