Summary/Abstract: The article looks at the purchase of agricultural land by foreigners in Poland. First, the Polish regulations on the land acquisition by foreigners are introduced. Next, the author reports on the quantity of land purchased in Poland (2003–2013) and the prices of land in other EU member states (2010–2013). The relevant regulations in the selected EU member states are discussed as well.
