Summary/Abstract: The paper presents results from the study of the court, in which dsiscourse analysis is the main research method. The object of the analysis are statements of the concerned participants, which were taken out of the court. 6 judges, 6 lawyers and 36 litigants both ethnic Bulgarians and from the Turkish minority were interviewed. The researchers' analysis indicates that the litigants from the Turkish ethnos notice ethnic division in the court unlike the Bulgarian litigants who do not problematize the topic. Two layers in the discourse of the judges and the lawyers are deployed: 1) The official, institutionalized discourse, in which ,,us-them" divide is eliminated; 2) In the second layer only positive items are expressed on the lip service, while at the same time in a broader reference system, in which discourse is constructed, the positive worths and assets of minorities are transformed into their drawbacks.
