Summary/Abstract: Morphologic progression in textbooks of Bulgarian as a foreign language follows learning step by step the parts of the speech (nouns, adjectives, adverbs, etc.) according to their role and frequency in oral and written texts. This is methodology in beginning second language learning. In next levels of second language education it seems to be better language means to be included in groups according to information which they carry on, and according to they function and participation in conversation. In this way the language learning is oriented through communicative principles. In the same class we put language means from different language levels for expressing one meaning.
