Summary/Abstract: This paper is structured in four parts, and deals with the multiple and complex dimensions of migration. Within the general context of the European population flux phenomenon of the last years, it draws attention on East-West migration, particularly regarding Romanians. Comparative statistical data are presented, causes and consequences of emigration are analyzed.
