Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to the role of alternative dispute resolution and consumer protection within insurance market. Special attention is paid to European regulations and practices of developed markets. There is also a critical assessment of Polish ADRs and proposals of coherent ADR system, which could lead to increase the effectiveness of consumer protection on the insurance market.
