Summary/Abstract: This paperwork is trying to be a proof, among many existing ones, of the active presence of the Turkish and Tartars in Dobrudja and Romania’s political life. It is true that the appetite for politics is not a characteristic of these minorities. However, in the same manner, the idea that the Turkish and the Tartars from Dobrudja had no administrative experience until 1878 is wrong. And, after 1787, and especially after 1909, when the complete politics rights are recognized for the people of Dobrudja – the Turkish and Tartar minorities have proved as members of the Parliament, mayors, districtual, city and local counselors that they are Romanian citizens and that they love their country.
