Cooperation for tourism development on Polish Russian border

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to prove that international cooperation between two countries may be a crucial factor of tourism development. The author concentrates on border area between Poland and Kaliningrad Oblast of Russian Federation. The analyzed border area is a territory of interaction between cultures, languages and nations. Local border traffic is subject to a unique regulation aimed at the simplification of border crossing The Polish Russian border area becomes a transboder region and destination.
