Entrepreneurship in Poland in light of Global Entrepreneurship Monitor

Summary/Abstract: The article looks at the questions related to the entrepreneurship and small and medium enterprises in Poland in light of international surveys. First, the relevant definitions are provided. Next, the author discusses the data from Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, an international study conducted by a consortium of universities in order to analyse the level of entrepreneurship in various countries. Its rationale, methodology and outcomes are also presented in the article. The main focus is placed on the case of Poland.
