Summary/Abstract: Saint John the Chrysostom’s thoughts about the Christian marriage are quite original. As pastor (and spiritual leader), he expresses his thoughts about the sacrament of marriage as practical answers, given to different problems, that occur in everyday life. The beauty of the woman and the man’s desire reinsure the fact, that both of them have been created and designed, to complete each other in love. This is the great power of love, which unites both man and woman in the so-called casta unio of the marriage, because it is love, which makes the two halves as one.
