Summary/Abstract: The essence of collaboration is to establish long-term and mutually beneficial relationship. Forming relationships with various groups of stakeholder is one of the elements of the concept of social responsibility. The concept od social responsibility has gained importance outside the business sector in recent years. Social economy and NGO sector, as well as organizations representing other sectors, making decisions face situations that can be analyzed from the perspective of social responsibility. This is very importat because of the assumption that social econnomy and NGO sector which carry out the social mission do this in a responsible way. The aim of conducted pilot studies, in the form of interviews, is to examine the extent to which non-governmental organizations take into account the social and environmental criteria in their purchasing decisions. The article outlines the main conclusions and directions for further improvements in this area.
