Social capital, human capital and creative capital in economic development

Summary/Abstract: The paper briefly characterizes the concept of role of particular types of capitals in the economic development. The author undertakes an attempt of redefinition of creativity index. Special attention is paid to various operationalizations of social capital and problems related to local social capital. The article describes the specificity of human capital and the differences between knowledge-based economy and creative economy. In the face of contemporary challenges for regional development connected with social capital, human capital and creative capital the author suggests possible directions of operations in the management of social and economic space.
