Summary/Abstract: In the article, are presented different methods of measuring efficiency, taking into account the different dimensions and criteria. Indicated the important role of non-financial metrics in assessing efficiency. It describes the criteria and measures of the efficiency characteristic for the companies managed by the quality, emphasizing very strongly the cost of quality. The paper also identify the difference between effectiveness and efficiency in standards ISO 9000.
