Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the process of competencies' measurement in an organization that applies competence management approach. The author focuses on two main stages of competencies' measurement: firstly - the process of identifying competencies that create profiles of job positions and secondly - the analysis of the level of knowledge, skills and attitudes among workers. The result of competence audit is a source of important information as it helps to characterize the direction of professional development, and thus to rationalize investment in human capital
