Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper was the analysis of producers and processors cooperative activities on the milk market in Poland. The experiences of promotion campaigns of commodity milk and milk products conducted in Poland in the years 1997–2011 were taken into account. Also the sources of financing and organizing these campaigns were discussed, taking into account the specific nature of the commodity promotion and the nature of activities carried out. It was found that the conducting of commodity promotion activities which promote selected product groups is economically justified and they are a part of current and planned promotional activities in the European Union.
